What counts as a correction
Any wrong fee figure, plan price, limit, jurisdiction, custody description, entity name, date or link. In a review library, a wrong number is not a typo — somebody may fund an account on it — so fee and custody errors are treated as material by default.
How corrections appear
A material correction gets a visible note on the review explaining what was wrong and what is now correct. If the correction changes the score, the old score and the new score are both stated. Minor spelling and formatting fixes are made without a note.
Changes versus corrections
A platform raising its fees is not an error on our part; it is an update, and the review is re-dated and re-scored. An error is something we got wrong about the platform as it was at the time of writing. The two are labelled differently so readers can tell whether the product moved or the reporting did.
Unpublishing
Reviews are corrected, not deleted. A review is only removed when the product no longer exists in any form, when keeping it up would expose readers to a live scam, or when there is a legal obligation to take it down. A removed review is noted rather than silently disappearing from the ranking.
